How it works

Five things, in the order they happen.

A sales document has a life: it gets filed, shown, sent, opened and corrected. ItsDocDoc is built around that sequence rather than around the folder it used to live in.

The name is the idea: a document doctor. ItsDocDoc reads what you upload, works out what kind of thing it is and how it should be shown, and tells you plainly when something is not well — a conversion that failed, a version that never took, a brochure whose panels have not been mapped yet.

01

Find it

A library that answers the question you walked in with

Every document has one canonical copy, however many collections and campaigns it appears in. Nothing is duplicated to be filed twice.

Search matches on every word, so typing more narrows rather than widens — title, filename, description, tags, collections and structured facets are all in the haystack.

Narrow by what a thing is: resource type, product, brand and the rest, several at once. The library says what it contains before you open a single control, and the counts move with your search so they always describe the question you are asking.

02

Present it

A brochure presents as a brochure

Presentation is not a preview at full size. ItsDocDoc knows what a document is and hands it to the renderer built for it — a tri-fold opens as a folding brochure with its panels in the right places, a deck opens as slides you advance.

Present enters that experience directly, on the asset you chose, with no collection to get lost in. Full screen is a state inside it, not a synonym for it, so a browser refusing full screen never costs you the presentation.

Field Mode is the workspace for presenting from: pick an asset, browse the collection, keep pinned material available offline for the meeting where the venue's wifi does not work.

03

Send it

Two kinds of link, and you choose which

A general link is open to anyone who has it, and it can carry a QR code for a business card, a trade stand or a printed leaflet.

A tracked link belongs to one contact, so what comes back is attributable rather than anonymous.

Either kind can follow your latest version or stay pinned to the one you sent. Replace the document later and the people you already sent it to see the new one — or do not, if that is what you chose. Revoke it and it stops opening.

04

Track it

Opens, and when they last came back

The Shares list tells you which sends have been opened and how recently, without opening any of them. Each share's own page carries the fuller picture: opens, distinct visitor sessions, first and last activity, and the recent event feed.

Recipients are not asked to sign in, install anything or identify themselves. ItsDocDoc records that a token was opened — it does not claim to have identified a person, and no IP address or location is stored.

05

Improve it

The document you sent is the document you fix

Upload a new version and the same links keep working. The asset page shows which version is actually being served, which is not always the newest one — if your latest upload failed to process, ItsDocDoc says so instead of quietly serving nothing.

Needs attention is a real work queue, not a status column: it lists the assets a person can do something about, and leaves out the ones nothing can be done about so the queue can reach zero.

Reclassify a document a year after uploading it, correct how it was recognised, or archive it. Archiving withdraws it from active use without deleting anything.

Start with one brochure.

Upload something and ItsDocDoc will work out what it is and how it should be shown. If it cannot, it says so rather than guessing.
